If in a restaurant, do you think it is wrong for anyone to order a light water, but add a packet of Crystal?
Or the pre-sweetened Kool-Aid packets that are destined for a 16.9 oz bottle of water? Some of my colleagues take their own Crystal Light restaurant and do that. Saturday, my husband and I went for dinner and I just happened so have a few packages of Kool-Aid in my purse. I wanted to pull it and mix it in water, and he almost had a fit! He said, is that embarrassing. It is not like me or steal anything. I did not want soda or tea. I ended up ordering an alcoholic drink because he was so against it. Do you think I'm out of line, or is it sticky etiquette when in a restaurant? Also, most restaurants only serve Coke or Pepsi products. There are a few that have a non-carbonated Serve beverages like punch or lemonade. What about those who are not soda or tea drinker?
When I waited tables I've always thought that this person must be cheap be and how incredibly tacky, this was, over the years, I realized that people should have more health-conscious restaurants and other carbonated drinks Decisions than just caffeine or offer! I'm not be sticky and honestly, if it is your husband ask him so much if he would bother to ... lol
